Anybody who is registered on the R4eGov website can ask a question here and receive an answer.
What is R4eGov about
R4eGov is all about researching the interoperability between public administrations at a cross border level.
How can I contribute to this website?
You simple have to create a login, and then you enter events, newsitems, and participate on the forum.
How can I join the User Group?
Joining the R4eGov User Group is simple. Just send an e-mail to usergroup@r4egov.eu indicating your interest in contributing to and participating in the User Group.
Participation to the User Group Forum is free of charge!
You do not need to pay anything to become a member of our User Group.
You will receive our newsletter free; just send us your feedback simply by sending us an email!
Typical expenses for participation to conferences such as flights and room rentals are not funded by the R4eGov project.
What do we do?
Our Project Team consisting of 21 partners working in 7 different EU Member States have been working for the last two years on interoperability, security, collaborative workflows, and e-learning training modules.
The R4eGov User Group is a group of people from national administrations, EU-level institutions and agencies that share the same concerns as the R4eGov project and that are interested in hearing results in the areas of secure cross-border and cross-administration interoperability.
The User Group already consists of the following organisations as partners within the project, as well as a growing network of practitioners and stakeholders who have been the subject of consultation and input :
• Europol
• Eurojust
• The Federal Chancellery of Austria
• The Belgian Federal Federal Public Service of Information Technology and Communication (Fedict)
• The Greffe du Tribunal de Commerce de Paris (GTCP)
• Consular Services of Member States
• The German Federal Supreme Court.

This is the title given to the series of Master classes to address issues of the R4eGov project with key practitioners and stakeholders

Who are we?
R4eGov is a research project co-funded by the European Commission to help tackle one of the major challenges facing eGovernment in Europe today - the ever increasing mobility of people and transactions across and within national boundaries. Our vision is a Europe in which citizens and public administrations can use more simply and securely services delivered across border.
Why should I join the R4eGov User Group?
Joining the R4eGov User Group gives you the opportunity to network, share your expertise and knowledge, participate in events, give feedback to R4eGov research results and solution and enable you to meet senior officials from among others Europol, Eurojust, the Belgian Federal Public Service of Information Technology and Communication (Fedict), the German Federal Supreme Court, the Federal Chancellery of Austria.
And there is more!
• You will have access to project results which are to be distributed through newsletters to the User Group members electronically.
• You will be able to evaluate our project results, offering your feedback and sharing your experiences from the point of view of your area of expertise in e-Government.
• You will be able to participate to User Group conferences where you will be able to take advantage of peer-to-peer learning opportunities, to discuss with your peers from other Member States sharing the same concerns as you and contribute significantly to knowledge and experience-sharing in the area of pan European eGovernment.
